And I was one of the crazy ones and still could dispose money on this. I just choose not to pay ridiculous amounts. Let’s see where that gets em when the bubble is over.
(I know… Wishful thinking)
(seriously asking)
Why even use ./ if you can just use . and are not executing anything? Am I missing something? It seems like a bad habit.
(OK on my case of course the incentive to use dot is higher than slash because it needs shift contrary to dot)
But but shareholder value of artificial money funneling system which has totally fair rules we made up and misuse.
Also mind biological changes aren’t really quick (but sometimes spontaneous, yes) and even I can now talk about things that happened in two different centuries. So a few thousand years aren’t even that much generations (even if you count shorter lifespan but that is mostly a statistical thing due to high death rate of babies).
It doesn’t really fit (on one hand, however…) but can I throw team America world police into the mix? 😁
Humanity in 6k years would be quite the speedrun at a humorous glance.
Any other perspective arguing this is absolute lunacy.
Exactly, gog is not maintaining the code, that’s the dev.
Not to intrude too much from a different angle here, but seeing US politics and the messed up 2 party system and such, the more I looked the more horrified I was. Compared to e.g. European countries diverse systems with several parties all over the spectrum in parliament there’s just no comparison or even democracy.
And once we Europeans say this, I get flak and aggression.
(so if I understand your post correctly interculturally we basically should agree since I am saying you don’t really have much choice in politics)

Ask Lemmy•What was the last emergency situation you were in? What happened and what part did you play?
5·3 days agoYou really want to know?
I died, flatlining one winter morning. Family did first responder, emergency services resuscitated. Hospital, recovery and so on.
And while it might be seen as a wonder I’m alive again we all got out worse from that experience in several ways - nobody cares. Your capacity for work is OK? Well off you go then!
It’s not rare for games on gog to be abandoned but maintained on steam, was hit often enough myself.
And while it makes business sense, it is a bad thing. It should not be released there if, yes, you’re being treated second class.
Aside from missing content or features one of the most common issues would be for multi-player not being included, working or incompatible. Sometimes without being transparent about it.
How is that not second class?
Have money for therapy… Therapist selection to get the one fitting for you would also be essential.
It’s not about parent trauma and standard stuff for everyone.
Also als neurodivergent a new planet with the opposite 99% / 1% distribution would be very healing.
Yeah, I’m not having a great day.

Same as iron man hitting the ground (landing or falling, no difference). Inside his suit would be mush.

Good question. I found an article that seemed solid enough a few years back and I wish I could cite it and did search a bit now. Of course I found a lot of general history on air pollution but not thst specific research I am talking about. 😕
