Pretty sure I responded to the same post.

He started saying Linux needed ecc for a while, windows didn’t, which is absolutely ridiculous given that a lot of Mac’s needed ecc, and windows server explicitly recommends ecc.

My Linux Android phone doesn’t use ecc either, or people’s Samsung tv
