    As a ”Just coffee, black” guy, I’ve never had this problem in any coffee shop ever

      Because it’s just the imaginings of someone who thinks they’re superior for wanting their coffee black.

      (Also, lol, why would you ever go to a coffee shop for that? You can very easily make it at home. Even when traveling, a lot of hotels can provide you with plain coffee just fine.)

      I mean black coffee is pretty much by definition the base ingredient for all other coffee derivates. It’s insane to think a barista couldn’t handle it

        Indeed. If you have an espresso machine you just pull a shot or two and top it up with hot water instead of milk.
