An on campus 1 bedroom apartment at the time was about $1160/month and is now $1972 and that was the cheapest on campus option aside from the dorms 😬.
The school did expand in popularity a lot as I was attending and has since construction several new buildings and expanded programs and services so that price hike isn’t entirely “inflation”, but hell at that rate I can see why wealthier parents buy nearby houses solely for their kids to live in while they study.
