    Maybe I should do that next time. I don’t have an espresso machine either and just used instant espresso haha

      That’s… really expensive for tiramisu.

      A cheaper but still good way would be to buy ground coffee (not instant coffee, ground coffee beans for an espresso machine) and boil some water in a kettle. Pour the boiling water over a bunch of grinds and let it sit. Make it as concentrated as you want. Then set up a paper coffee filter in a funnel and strain it into a bottle or jar or something.

      Used to do this in a cocktail bar for espresso martinis after the stingy owner of the bar sold the espresso machine. Would froth when shaken just as well as fresh espresso, and was actually decently nice to drink black. Makes nice iced coffee too with some sugar and milk, would definitely work quite well in tiramisu.
