I have tried almost every type of story generator here and they always derail my stories by changing the time period I try to set.

I try to set stories in parallel worlds in modern times, but the generators keep changing it to either fantasy or sci-fi by introducing things that don’t belong and its a pain to edit those back out (on the generators that allow that).

What would be a good way to prompt things to keep things on track as much as possible, I have tried Modern city, present-day, and current-day in my prompts and still the AI messes things up.
