    In our societies, we need money to acquire shelter, food, transportation, spouses (if you’re male)

        A lot of young men are NEETs these days, and in many cases not by choice - large numbers of college grads are underemployed or unemployed in America today. Honestly I feel badly for them, but I also don’t know what to do about that. Living through an age of decline sucks.

      If you have no money to go on a date and at least pay for your part on trips…you ain’t getting a wife…nobody wants to be carrying that kind of dead weight :/

      Is not their primary mating criteria “provide for me”? Is not the expectation that the man pay for all the dates, and in particularly toxic cases, pay her rent, her nails, hair, etc.?

      Money is a requirement to be seen, therefore we need money to acquire a mate. There is a philosophical debate over whether that equates to prostitution. I’m not getting into that here.
