Is this the woman who was caught speeding with alcohol on hand two days ago but was let off, and then was caught again doing the exact same thing? She’s not a victim here. Shes a repeat offender who was resisting a justified arrest
Edit: this isn’t justifying the officer’s attack, just providing some missing context to why. She should be arrested for her actions. She of course shouldn’t be assaulted
Arellano began placing Hackett under arrest. He said he saw alcohol in the car and learned another trooper had pulled her over days earlier and also found an open container.
The media reporting that “he said he saw alcohol.” Not “alcohol was found in the vehicle.” Not “was charged for having open alcohol while driving” if which there would need to be physical evidence.
Learned another trooper had found alcohol days earlier. Not “was arrested for having alcohol in the vehicle” of which there would be an actual record.
Are you certain there was any alcohol, or do you think he’s making up an excuse for his behavior and the media and his fellow officers are providing him cover?
Well there was one time I heard about a cop telling the truth. He complained about the abuse and fraud in the LAPD. He filed complaints appropriately and then he got written up, told he needed to improve.
Eventually, he was fired and declared war on the LAPD and their families. That’s the part you might have heard about before.
“Caught for going 71 in a 60 mile an hour zone”, if she was white this would have been a ticket and a “have a nice night, please keep to the speed limit”.
Absolutely excessive force. ACAB and all that. But also this woman is being a menace repeatedly drinking and driving, this attack by the officer wasn’t provoked

What the fuck is wrong with you
Guy doesn’t realize Judge Dredd is dystopic.
I also love how cops can be retroactively omniscient.
Cop: drives up to unarmed black teenager and shoots them dead within 20 seconds.
News: Child was discovered to have not returned a manga to the library 4 years ago.
Public: Totally justified execution.
Not much, you? Context helps.
The context does not remover her victim status.

as it goes
He’s being downvoted because he’s a sociopath
I can be happy a drunk is off the street and be mad at how, can’t I?
Yea you can. Other poster said she was not a victim.
So are you just assuming this and making a mess for no reason?
Repeat offender or not, do you not agree that that was excessive force?

Not assuming, literally what happened.
Not agreeing with him tho, acab

Well yeah hes probably making it up. When has a cop ever told the truth?

They certainly have a lot of incentives to lie!

The only proof of that is the officers word. I don’t trust cops.
Lol, that’s what you think is resisting arrest?
She is a victim here. There is very little context that could ever justify this.
May you be reincarnated as a penniless Black Man in Mississippi, then as a Native woman in North Dakota.
Alcohol on hand is a good way to clean it
