That’s the question basically.
I cannot post or comment. The community main page has neither the “Join” nor the yellow “Leave” button. Yet it still shows up in my profile page sidebar (and possibly also in my feed).
How can I actively leave the community resp. remove it from there?
If you go to settings you may be able to see your blocklist, and should be able to add communities by typing them in and selecting from the drop-down.
That users instance has a community to complain about moderation.
If the community is one that instance doesn’t like, they’ll tell you it’s not your fault and mods are from reddit.
If the community is one they agree with, they throw insults and tell you that mods can run communities how they want and if you don’t like it, don’t go there…
I blocked it after they literally made certain instances immune from complaints.
It seems like a good idea on the surface, but it’s run by very unserious people
