    Perhaps you should check again. Many states do have “Romeo and Juliet” laws, but not most. Not even half.

    If you’re under the age of consent, then consent cannot be granted, even if both parties claim to be willing. Of course, most states will not enforce this under most circumstances where it’s just a couple kids fooling around, but it is still illegal.

      I love that you’re putting the law above ethics here. These two horny same aged teenagers had sex but were too young to consent, therefore they should both go to jail! Damn these lenient judges!

          Same aged minors exploring their sexuality isn’t rape. That shouldn’t be at the discretion of a judge. Especially in red states where the judges are extra racist and extra homophobic.
