I’ve found that being “annoying” is a matter of the perspective of the listener. People who don’t care to learn find info-dumps “annoying,” but there are tons of people who find them fascinating and love learning about the things I share. As a kid I didn’t have that understanding, I was just exciting to spread facts I discovered with whoever was around me - thus hearing “you’re annoying” over and again. But learning to read people, and finding like minds, taught me that my info-dumps are welcomed by people who share my wavelength.
