One of my favorite things about opossums are the way they sleep. Perhaps it’s because they look ridiculous. Maybe it’s more that they look so darn comfy and I want to live vicariously through them.
I rarely see this age sleeping because usually they are out in pre-release enclosures and can hear me approaching and wake up. The past couple of stormy days inside after the evacuation means I have had more opportunity to watch them and adore them.
The photos aren’t great because I have cage bars in the way and was trying to be stealthy, but I wanted to share them because they really brighten my day.
I hope you enjoy this ridiculousness as much as I do. 🥰
