I don’t think you can blame Democrats for being spoilers to “actual socialists” when “actual socialists” aren’t on the damn menu.
According to Wikipedia there’s 102 DSA-aligned (who are Democratic-Socialists and not “actual socialists”) politicians at the federal and state level. Out of 7,968 seats. Barely over 1%.
