Those are all very, very circumstantial. I don’t think it’s weird he’s in s pro Russian stance, because that’s his guardian atm, you don’t bite the hand that feeds you.
Would a president have pardoned him, or at least made promises of not seeking a death sentence in pretty sure he would’ve remained in the united states.
If he was a foreign asset he would’ve not published and tried to remain in place and pass on info from within the NSA. It makes no sense blowing a cover that deep for basically nothing.

Seems unlikely, considering he had already left the US before any charges were filed.
Assurances were made that he would be given a fair trial under US laws, but I don’t think he was planning to return and face the legal ramifications of his actions. I don’t think he ever intended of returning to the United States.

I don’t think that’s necessarily true. You can be an “asset” without being a “spy”, or you can be both. If you are acting in the interests, or on behalf of, a foreign country, then you can be considered a foreign asset.
The open question is whether Snowden’s actions were 100% benevolent and in the interest of the American public, or whether there was some degree to which his motives were in the interest of America’s adversaries. Nobody can really answer that question, can they?
But immediately fleeing into the protection of an American geopolitical adversary like Russia certainly raises questions about his motive that aren’t so easy to dismiss.
Keep in mind, I’m not saying this to undermine the information that he publicly leaked. This is purely a question of motives.

Which was my point in the first comment questioning OP to deliver sources of definitive proof.
The only definate thing you can say is: Due to cirumstances he lives in Russia, probably not entirely free of choice, and thus can’t really hold his current breadlord to the same standards he chose to hold the USA to, when he exposed things.
