An Ohio solar farm invited 3 million bees to work beneath its panels, make honey, and teach employees how to become beekeepers, and it is working. I had never come across solar beekeeping before, but it’s an awesome synergy of nature and green energy tech!

    Well the article explains they did plant native flowers. But what’s wrong with honey bees?

      European honeybees protected by human beekeepers outcompete native pollinators for the nectar and pollen that these plants grow, so that the native pollinators struggle to get enough food.
