This particular coathanger happens to have a nice shiny black coating on it, and I didn’t want to scratch, damage or remove that coating.

So I bent this one 100% by hand, with no pliers or anything, just my hands, fingers and muscles. And yes, it was extremely challenging, I’m surprised I didn’t get any blisters and only broke one thumbnail in the process.

Note that I managed to get this one to stand up and balance on its own without a stand. I did that by ever so slightly curving the final result, the center is about 5mm closer to the viewer than the ends.

    Um, as like a decorative cage to slip the lighter into or something?..

    I dunno, almost sounds like a good idea, but I dunno how I would even start or what sort of style I could work with…
