Full title: In Avengers: Endgame (2019), Dr. Strange says he observed 14,000,605 possible futures, and that they only won in 1 of them. This means there wasn’t a single timeline where Chris Pratt’s character didn’t ruin what seemed to be a very workable plan.
They capture thanos and almost take the gauntlet until starlord snaps and wakes thanos up. So that means in the 1 timeline where everything apparently works, they still fuck up. So the initial plan never works in those 14 million times cause of starlord being a dick.
I see it very differently. Yes, in the one timeline with a future they have to go through this.
All others might have star lord ruin it or not. But they lose one way or another possibly unrelated.
