From Wild Wings Inc

Flying squirrels are cavity nesters, often using abandoned woodpecker holes or natural tree cavities for shelter. These hidden spaces provide a safe place to rest, raise their young, and escape harsh weather.

I’ve tried to get some of these guys to release in my yard for 2 years now with no success! They are always claimed before I hear they are ready for setting free. 😔 These guys are crazy, and I’d love to see them enjoying my yard.

It is quite entertaining to see them springboard off of people and flying across the room.
