I’ll start: I love listening to the washing machine running. Relaxing, sounds like hard work I don’t have to do. Looking forward to the clean clothes and nice smell! Sewing machine sound makes me all giddy. Sound of my 1988 car engine.
I find chain saws and brushcutters extremely annoying. On some days in spring and autumn I can get quite grumpy about it, even though I rationally know they also save a lot of hard work.

Every single 3d printer has its own unique sound and I love them all. My first was a prusa i3 clone that would catch fire if you weren’t watching, but its voice was a beautiful and springy hum. They all sound fun and calming to me.
I’m sure every printing enthusiast has spent at least the first 10 minutes of their first print just watching and listening
You can play music on your 3D printers and other stepper powered automata!
I remember resting on the sofa and just listening to the hum of our metal frame Prusa. Especially when printing circles. I might want to have a 3D printer again for the sound more than its practical use!
