Democrats once preached college-for-all, and were too soft on school privatization. They need to reverse course on both these positions—and make an unapologetic case for education as a public good that benefits all kids.
I’ve got no real qualms about private schools as long as they don’t get a single lick of tax money and you’re still taxed the same amount as everyone else for public school, no tax credits, no help, no nothing. You can private all you want as long as you pay for public school like everyone else. and as for homeschool, I’m with you there.
