Drivers are currently making like $12-$14/hr, so…yup. Delivery drivers are the number one recipients of government food benefits in the U.S. right now. And Uber will just deny my cleaning fee when someone vomits, soooo…yup. Not accepting that shit in my car and paying out of pocket to clean it after midnight (tons of detailing options open then), having to drag an unconscious stranger out of my car, etc.

Best case scenario : uber loses so much businesses that the taxi companies can roll out a unified ride hailing app and pay drivers decently.
All they need is a decent app and I’m back to cabs.
