You’re wrong, but for a counter- intuitive reason. People who are happy are more likely to have kids. And then these people continue to be happier on average than their childless peers. But most likely because they have the excess time and resources to pursue having children.

Ok well I can assure you that MOST people who had kids have not obtained ANY those things from their kids or their kids’ efforts.
