I wonder what Americans made of Better Man
They famously didn’t. The entire discourse surrounding this film from the American side of the ocean was “who is this person I’ve never heard of and why is he a monkey?” and after that discourse they still didn’t go see the film. We can speculate as to the why if we want, but the reality is just that for whatever reason this man is not famous in America, he is a footnote.
Oh yes. It was a massive flop. And not just in America.
But I’d still like to hear the opinion of an American who saw it.
