Well, now Perchance’s AI has become completely fixated on specific names when generating characters (in AI Character Chat), when you use the “Unknown” character, the one that has you generate a character based on a text prompt.
The names include:
- Silas
- Kaelen
- Jax
- Elara
- Allistair
- Thorne
- Vane
- Hank
- Elias
This isn’t even criticism either, this is just me taking notes. It seems Perchance’s AI model has a particular fixation on these names. You can only force the AI to generate a character with a different name if you specifically specify the name of the character you want the AI to generate. Otherwise, it’ll just use a pool that consists of those names. It’s not coincidence, it’s hard burned into its memory.

I still remember when it was so obsessed with Castellanos for some reason, writing the instruction to exclude the name won’t work you have to specify the characters name. No hate to the Castellanos out there but it was so irritating and forced me to create a name gen with thousands of names just to get rid of it.
