I recall wanting to draw a robot around the design language of motorcycles and motorcycle fairings, without it looking like a 2000s era Transformer. This was around 2009 I guess.

      Thanks! Yeah I was imagining a lot of the robot would be nearly unarmoured except for a thin side-facing profile. This unit was designed for staying mobile and strafing enemy positions with covering fire. It wouldn’t even bother to face the target with its sensor cluster, since its main defense is being hard to hit and avoiding obstacles. Cropped out: wheels, or possibly just un-powered skates to facilitate parkour manouvres.
