Well yes, that could be part of the peace deal - some income for Iran for straight access. I don’t think the U.S. cares about that as long as it’s not exorbitant and everyone has access. And similarly, if Iran blocks the straight, the U.S. would drop some more bombs on Iran. I think both side would like to go back to how it was before. But they both have to save face.
