      The player is the enemy, who literally uses “pawns on a chessboard” as a derogatory term.

      I mean, the pawn can become any piece other than king upon promotion after reaching the end of the corporate ladder board; where the kind isn’t captureable in the first place anyways (tho, it’s pedanticism for a funny joke anyways)
