    Yay! Double story time.

So this one day I went for a walk , LOOONG walk. I almost walked out of the city Im in. So in order to leave the city Im in you have many options if youre driving a car , but I have never owned a car (and I probably never will own one) . If youre pedestrian it is clearly labelled that some roads are not accessible by pedestrians and bicycles when you get onto them and you will have to use another road , closeby road to get to your destination. Bro… my dumbass during this walk proceeded to walk ONTO THE HIGHWAY! YES ! I WALKED ONTO THE HIGHWAY WHICH HAD NO SIDEWALKS AT ALL and I proceeded to continue to walk on the highway for almost 3 kilometres…right before I finally notice another sign that basically said ‘HEY PEDESTRIAN AND BICYCLISTS?! This road IS A FUCKING HIGHWAY ! Do not walk any further or youll fucking die dumbass’ . I turn around and walk back all the way back to my city … and I see the oedestrian walk way to leave the city was just a few feet away … I was 27 when I did that . SO I was clearly matured. But still a Darwin-Award-Winning Idiot. Im not jokong this same scenario happened to me a SECOND time in a dofferent part of the city when I was like 28. And ocne again I saw the pedestrian walkway a few feet away from where the highway diverted.

Another time I was at work working the graveyard shift. It was the dead middle of night and dead middle of winter. Like -20°C outside. I feel lioe Im getting bored cause its getting close to the end of my 10 hour shift. After finishing up some files that need to be reformatted , refilled out cause the lsst guy made a bunch of mistakes on tbem, and sent to my boss I decide to go for a walk. Now let it be known that my boss told me before hand that the type of building we work in is VERY high security . Unless you work in firefighting, special ops or youre the prime minister? This building isnt opening for you. Bro …my dumbass leaves the building for my walk arounf the block , without a jacket or a sweater, in -20°C weather …and…I find that Ive locked myself out. I wait there for nearly 2 hours thinking Ill jist wait for someone to come or look outside and then help me…nobody comes …then I give in and call my boss and tell him Im a dumbass and Ive locked myself out. One of the janitors in the building and a police officer at a nearby police station comes over and has to go through a whole routine just to open the door for me to get back in because I didnt have the different types of keys and keycards needed to open these types of doors . THIS happened when I was 25 years old lol… Another Adult-Darwin-Award avoided huh? Edit: I just realized that I could have re entered the building through the fore exits. I was too stupid at the time to realize that fire exits are always open…

…Imagine me in possession of a child… and let it be known I STILL make mistakes like this reguarly…

People like us are not meant to be around children to raise lol. And thats OK.

You should not feel ashamed for allowing only yourself to receive the consequences of your mistakes.
