    Those spikes are definitely useful in ensuring that the nest stays put and intact. If more birds were like this, sooner or later, folks remove the spikes for the very reason they were put in in the first place.

      I believe pigeons make famously bad nests. I’m guessing because they were domesticated for so long. This is a top tier pigeon nest.

      I’d hang out with this pigeon.

        That’s prime real estate. I hope you’re good with hanging out in their nest, making sure no other halfwit dumpster chicken squats it or from under him/her. ☝🏼
