It beeps when it’s done.

It beeps when you place it on the base.
But today, it beeps no more.
I classify this as a repair.

Don’t they all have auto-shutoff?
They should, but that doesn’t mean it still will after fiddling with it.
It may have been a structural integrity buzzer.
