Seems to be limited to a subset of libraries (in Dublin at least) but it only asks for your library card number and pin.
I’m constantly impressed with what our libraries are offering now. They had a massive library of Nintendo Switch games in my local library I noticed recently.
Yeah I honestly thought it looked like a very solid selection. Kinda shocked tbh but also very impressed.
I haven’t actually rented any because I don’t know my PIN but the library in Dublin city when I zoomed in on the map said “Fingal library” which is my voting district (Wikipedia says Dublin got divided into three counties in 1994 but calling Fingal a county seems mental to me).
I found the map, thanks. Galway isn’t listed but I might visit / email them and see if they can do anything.
Interested to hear how you get on if / when you get to it. The “Fingal” library was far away from me but if you’re streaming that may not matter.
I’ll let you know how it goes. It could spare a lot of people a subscription to the typical services.
