Sloppy coders introducing bugs with AI that they then fix with AI? Perhaps. But there’s plenty of examples where AI is finding exploits in packages that haven’t been touched since AI was invented.

Its fine to use AI to find exploits IMO. Helps everyone, even if it does release a torrent of notices. However it’s highly unethical to claim a reward after using AI to find it. The reward is for skill, no to see if you could buy a Claude subscription. Hell if anyone “deserved” the award it would be anthropic, not the person running the Claude session. But really it should just be unclaimed.
