People don’t choose which country they are born in(to). I also despise their exceptionalism, but that doesn’t mean I am inclined to feel like I am better than anyone else based on where I was born.
People’s “value” isn’t baked into them at the moment of birth. Being a shitty person might not be that person’s “fault” but they can still be an objectively shitty person and the reasons don’t always matter.
Take it as you will, but I hold the US as a “nation” beneath contempt, and not all, but most of the inhabitants

Not sure how that relates to the point I made. That said, the reasons do matter, otherwise you can’t start looking for potential solutions.
