      I will maintain that we have flying cars, and we have had them for some time. They’re called helicopters.

      We can barely handle non flying cars. Can you imagine the amount of mini 9/11s drunk drivers flyers will cause?

      Superconducting levitation is probably the closest we can get safely. Or maybe once we got reliable assist systems.
