I’m not saying it’s somehow okay what Trump has done. What I’m saying is that it’s more a capitulation on his end than a subjugation of Greenland.
This does not mean we can relax. This does not mean this is a good thing. It means that disaster is averted for now, and he’s committing to a narrative about him having won, which will buy us some time and resources to focus on more important things.
