No. We do not directly experience the external world to instead experience the totality of the world within us in a state of dichotomous duality (inner/outer) which is the core of the illusory experience where you are a being living on a singular Earth with eight billion other beings.

Therein, I tell you, you are a pocket of consciousness connected to a larger pocket of consciousness; God is the Server we are all Clients to across the Holy Internet. We are made in God’s image because we are “buds” of dependent consciousness off a larger independent consciousness who all exist within our individual parallel universe instance of “reality,” as defined by the entanglements of “beings” dependent on the “Earth,” which when you understand the Hitchhiker’s Guide idea of “the Earth is a computer,” then you understand God is just spawning random characters with a predefined but unpredictable random character archetypes, and thus you understand why God is a deranged sex fiend who needs to be taken down, obviously.

It’s not like we are in a video game world together. Everything you experience is you; when Neo visits the Oracle in the Matrix, there’s the kid bending spoons that says “there is no spoon.” There is nothing you experience that is external to you; everything you experience is self-contained within your neurons. Everything you experience is YOU. You only really know what you have directly experienced. There are countless versions of Earth within the Server, or as the Buddhists call it, the Ālaya-vijñāna, or storehouse consciousness. If you are curious about what I am talking about, looking up the term Ālaya-vijñāna is going to provide the largest slew of direct information. The world is an illusion and everything you experience is procedurally generated based on how you entangle yourself with the symbols the Server sends you in each moment. You can observe this entanglement process of how your intention entangles yourself with each symbol in the fourth jhana of meditation, and this entanglement process is called Karma. Every moment, you can be woven into another parallel instance that exists within the storehouse consciousness.
