America is a melting pot, and, especially in cities, everyone is used to hearing foreign languages being spoken in public. Most places around the world are more homogeneous by comparison, and often surprisingly racist.

You’re probably right. America is a melting pot, and, especially in cities, everyone is used to hearing foreign languages being spoken in public. Most places around the world are more homogeneous by comparison, and often surprisingly racist.
