Loved my Voron v0.2 build, so much fun and got lucky without many problems. The display kept screwing it up, so disconnected it and it’s been happy since. Which Voron? At that price for pegboard, printing some multi board might be cheaper! I considered doing that since I have a big boy printer, too, but decided to stick with the pegboard.
Yeah I’m on a 0.2, I thought it would be easy… and here I am months later! As for pegboard, I did a bit of a shop and there are some that make it to that size and thickness at a similar price, but to collect them would be a two hour drive into a whole other city
Yea, a 3-point jig would work. I.E. make a right triangle with three holes the right distance apart.
Place it over the wood and drill through the first two holes holding it steady and square.
From there it gets easy, just put pegs in two of the holes of the jig, pushed through into the two holes you drilled in the board behind it. Now the jig doesnt move and you can drill the third hole. Rotate and spin from there to do all the rest.

Are there “sheets” of anything you can get cheap? Or from sonsignment? You could make a jig and drill a bunch of holes to make one?
I could buy some ply or mdf and have a go myself, but precision drilling would be difficult
