The Trump administration released new fuel economy standards on Monday, relaxing regulatory requirements for automakers to control pollution from gasoline-powered cars and light trucks.
You would think that. But here in the city of Springfield Illinois. Our power is coal.
And trump reduced regulations.
And guess what. They just stopped doing the extra filter/cleaning/scrubbing (whatever it’s called ) because they don’t have to. Even though the infrastructure for it all is already installed.
This was brought up at a town meeting a while back.
It still is cheaper to not do it. So they won’t. Even though it’s already all set up.
