Oh really? Well, check out Enigma’s third album ‘Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi!’. Its mood is rather different, and Cretu dropped much of the ‘native’ singing and stuff. People mostly miss that underneath the cheesy facade, Enigma’s music was very solid.
And of course, the knockoff project Era was quite decent in its own right.
