I’ve been writing a dinky little coffeeshop mystery for the past two years. I’m 2/3 of the way through and its been a lot of work. I’m not perfect but its been heck.

Stuff like this makes me really sad. I think anyone caught taking shortcuts like that as an author should be banned from the industry.

You just said you want a central authority who decides what can get ridden a terrible idea with massive downsides so as to avoid more bad books an ever present unfixable problem with human nature. Maybe if you had written this comment with chatGPT it would actually make sense.

No, they said people who fake writing with “AI” are hacks who should be shunned from writing, which is true. Human slop still requires effort and thought and is infinitely superior to faking it by using an “AI” to vomit plagiarism.

Super mean and aggressive. I guess i touched a nerve?

Do I think that book with a prompt request written right into it should get removed from Amazon and banned from being allowed to self publish? Yes.

Getting aggressive with me and implying I’m stupid isn’t going to change my mind.

Words to live by i guess, for you at least… i suppose we can clearly see that you didn’t have chatgpt proofread your comment, so there is that
