My understanding from the outside is that it’s for political and social legitimacy. The party formed from the student protests and chose people for their list in student meetings at a bunch of universities. The point of listing no students is to show that their demands have support outside the student body. For the same reason, they don’t list anyone who has had a career in politics.
It’s weird one of the candidate criteria for the “Student List” is not a student.
