To clarify, I’m asking why you’re of the opinion that 90% of conservatives support trump, and that 75% of that group reports cult-like devotion.
Ah. I was using rough numbers, but it looks like I overestimated the % of conservatives who support Trump right now. Presently, around 62% of them support him. I think I was recalling data from an earlier time, because it stuck in my head. But the 75% estimate comes from the following two recently published stats: Trump’s voters trust him more than they trust friends and family and Percentage of Republicans who think Biden’s 2020 win was illegitimate ticks back up near 70%.
