For me 55 is the max, TransferMarkt est value is 65. This is his last year, and they want to offload. I like Mount as a “Value Deal” not at “Retail”. Nothing against Mount as a player, I like his hard work, and he does not seem to loose the ball as often as Fred. Not as physical as Fred (not physical at all). I don’t think that Mason and Bruno in some more physical games will work, kind of like Eriksen… Better engine than Eriksen.
Broadly agree but I’d go even lower. £50m take it or leave it. We need to grow some balls when it comes to transfers. Mount’s key strength is pressing IMO. He doesn’t stop running and like you say is an upgrade technically on Fred. He’s an ideal partner for Casemiro as he gets older.
I can’t wait until we end up paying £80m at the end of the window.
