These two young-uns have been hanging out in the tree behind our house a few days a week the past month or so. Raccoons really seem to like this tree, there’s a family there every year.

Go to the campgrounds of any state park
Oh wow, so I can just steal raccoons from state parks?
They don’t want you to know, but there’s actually no law against it
Try this one tip that your national park doesn’t want you to know!!
Remember this rule:
It isn’t theft if you happened to leave a car door open, while transporting tasty things, in a state park, near a family of racoons, and just happened to close the door while they were inside the vehicle, bring them home, and release them upon arrival.
This is equally true of national parks.
For City/Town/Village/Council/Non-encorporated Entities, highly illegal. No trial. Immediate execution. Entire life’s history erased. Unmarked grave. They take their raccs seriously.
Damn that’s a shame. They shouldn’t execute raccoons for entering my car. The raccoons deserve a trial. And if the poor raccoons can’t get a trial, they at least deserve a marked grave
