As a Bavarian: Yes absolutely. It’s not like I hate my fellow Germans but from a cultural and historic standpoint, this makes sense.
I think it would get a majority in Bavaria and if Germany wants us to go too. Let’s go!
To be fair, I have never been to Bavaria, but the few interactions I had with Bavarians weren’t painting a positive picture. I worked in a theme park in northern Germany on the weekends while I was still in school and my friendly “moin.” was answered with a “Das heisst servus, Junge!”. Maybe they were just drunk, though. So no bad blood to my southern friends. My previous comment should be taken as friendly banter.
