Hey everyone!

So we’ve been trying our best to listen to members of the community on how we provide updates and information to you fine folks! To that end, we would like to welcome a new secondary, fedi-friendly avenue, Mastodon.

We will be posting updates here in ADDITION to our normal [email protected] community. As both a supplement to our Discord server and a place for the community to directly interact with us via micro-blogging.

We feel this opens up a few neat doors for sure to keep communication open and transparent.

      I didn’t realize the @-link redirects you to the external site from Lemmy. The correct URL for you guys over there should be /u/username@server.io, which means that /u/[email protected] should be the correct path for Lemmy users. :)

        Thank you! Below is what I see when I click on that link. Is there a way to follow that account so that their posts show up on my feed?

          Oh dangit - you’re right. It seems not being able to follow users is a feature, not a bug in Lemmy, with the advice of the developer being to use Mastodon or kbin instead if you wish to do so. There’s a new issue open about it though, so hopefully they’ll give in to popular demand.

          Sorry for my misinformation! Since I don’t have an account over there I just assumed the follow button would appear once signed in. :/
