why does the body do this? it seems like very stupid design
in fact i should be able to tell it when and where to accumulate fat rather than it just stuffing it wherever because it thinks it knows. clearly it does not!
Because evolution is a very stupid design in that is has one goal and overall it doesn’t care what happens after humans are able to reproduce. It also didn’t really account for our modern diets consisting of trans fats and high fructose corn syrup.
