    I like wired headphones but I have never really had any huge problems with wireless in this day and age.

    And Bluetooth is not proprietary.

      “Adopter” membership is free, and the SIG is a not-for-profit corporation, but you very much need to play by their rules, and their rules are influenced by some huge corporations, which are very much for profit.
