MGM Resorts International disclosed today that it is dealing with a cybersecurity issue that impacted some of its systems, including its main website, online reservations, and in-casino services, like ATMs, slot machines, and credit card machines.
Yeah that seems to be the same I’m hearing. They’re on high alert and are stepping up their monitoring and stuff. It’s ironic that they’re so intense on physical security and stuff, but their cyber stuff is so outdated.
They mostly all use really cheap network. Servers, and software. Some of the cheapest run companies for IT are casinos.
I don’t work in one, but I have interviewed dozens of people who have.
They took a gamble on their cybersecurity…
